Additional chapters afford background reviews of the fundamentals of general anatomic pathology, including diagnostic molecular pathology, diagnostic electron microscopy, human genetic disorders, forensic pathology, cytopathology, and microbiology for surgical pathologists.
I predict that this spruced up and quite attractive third edition with high quality glossy paper will prove even more popular than its predecessors. Genetic testing for the early detection of cancers and the molecular classification of diseases has become increasingly important.
